Andrea Gonzolas, ALT

Andrea is working on becoming Certified Academic Language Therapist. She is learning the program Take Flight, and hopes to also learn Esperanza (the only Spanish Orton-Gillingham program).

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is certified in both Special Education and Bilingual Education. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Andrea brings several years of experience as a bilingual and special education teacher, working closely with diverse learners.

Originally from Venezuela, Andrea has a deep appreciation for cultural and linguistic diversity. She is especially passionate about bilingualism, literacy, and supporting multilingual students and those with dyslexia.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with friends and family, biking, and taking peaceful nature walks. She is committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where all students can grow in confidence as readers and communicators.
