Math Intervention

Math intervention is beneficial for a wide variety of students. Our interventionists are knowledgeable in mathematics and learning differences, including dyscalculia, and use research-based techniques to help students develop strong mathematical skills and effective problem-solving strategies. By utilizing formal and informal assessments, we create individualized lessons that address each student’s unique strengths and areas of need. Intervention may benefit students with dyscalculia and other learning disabilities, as well as students who simply need to fill in foundational academic gaps.

Lesson objectives may include strengthening number sense, improving computation skills, developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving, increasing math fact fluency, and building confidence and independence in mathematics. Our interventionists provide both in-person and virtual sessions, allowing families to choose the format that best meets their student’s needs. Sessions are individualized to ensure that instruction is targeted, meaningful, and appropriately challenging for each student.
