Carolyn Piazza
Carolyn grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended the University of Washington prior to receiving both her BA in Business Administration/Accounting and her CPA license. More recently, she obtained additional certifications in Patient Advocacy and Bookkeeping at UCLA Extension.
Over the years, Carolyn has enjoyed working with people and numbers, starting out as an auditor in Seattle before moving into accounting and financial services in New York. After returning to the West Coast, she focused on client services and also gained valuable experience volunteering in her local schools, especially in roles involving reading and guest speaking.
Being raised by a mom who was also a teacher left Carolyn with a great sense of respect for education. Additionally, living with disabilities taught Carolyn to be empathetic, and she has a reputation for being relatable and calm in her interactions. She is honored to have the opportunity to help each student with their understanding of math and share her enthusiasm for the nuts and bolts and usefulness of math.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family and two cats, listening to music, and exploring different cities.
