Conrad Medrano

Conrad is a STEM teacher with over 10+ years of experience teaching everything from 6th Mathematics to AP Spanish, AP Biology, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with focus on Latin American Government and Politics in 2014 from St. Edward’s University. 

Afterwards, he decided to give back and teach at his former middle school which sparked his love of teaching. He took a particular interest in supporting students with disabilities and made it a point to learn how to better support them. 

Over the years, he’s taken on additional roles such as ESL Coordinator to help students with language-acquisition and Special Populations Curriculum Writer to create the instructional and assessment supports that would be embedded in district-wide curriculum. 

Presently, he is attending Texas State University and trying to get his Masters degree in Special Education with a focus on Learning and Behavioral Disabilities. He is certified in Mathematics 7-12, Generalist 4-8, and Special Education K-12.
